About Saxon MathSaxon teaches the foundational skills of mathematics – the building blocks of continued learning and problem solving. Saxon includes distributed, mixed practice every day, meaningful conversations that engage all students, frequent cumulative assessments and an integrated curriculum. Saxon is taught in increments which provide consistent review, practice, and assessment to ensure new skills are learned and mastered over time. Saxon is sequential which provides a solid foundation for knowledge to build upon.
All assignments are important and need to be turned in on time. Your child will have homework almost every night. Please check ASPIRE often to make sure your child is turning in his/her math assignments. If your child is absent, missed assignments will be sent home with him/her upon returning to school. As stated in my disclosure document, I will not provide any assignments early for scheduled absences, vacations, trips, etc. |
