Student of the Week
There is no Student of the Week.
We are so lucky that your child is a part of our class. We want to know more about him/her. Please help your child make a poster that represents himself/herself. The poster can include pictures, illustrations, and any information that your child would like to share with our class. We want to know about your child's family, pets, hobbies, favorite foods, etc. Your child will present his/her poster to the class. After the poster presentation, your child may share one item for Show-and-Tell (NO PETS for Show-and-Tell PLEASE). Your child will tell the class about this item and respond to 5 questions from fellow classmates. We will then hang your child's poster up in our classroom as a way to honor him/her for the week.
Please see the schedule below. You will receive an email the week before your child's scheduled week. Student of the Week presentations take place on Mondays. Following presentations, we write about the Student of the Week in our "Friend Book." Due to our schedule, it is extremely important that your child be prepared to present on the Monday of the week that he/she is Student of the Week.
